Trieu Nguyen msc

Greetings to Everyone,

My name is Trieu Nguyen, and I am a Missionary of the Sacred Heart. I was born in a small town that has recently become part of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. I was raised in a traditional Catholic family of five children, and it was within this family and parish community that I first received my faith and learned to deepen it.

From a young age, I was actively involved in parish life through the choir, altar serving, youth groups, Religion of Marry, and vocational discernment groups. These experiences, together with the inspiring example of my parish priest — who was humble, pastoral, and deeply compassionate, especially toward the poor and those in need — played an important role in nurturing my vocation.

I have begun my journey with the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart since 2019. I completed my theological studies in Melbourne at the end of 2025. As part of my formation, I have been sent to Randwick Parish for my pastoral placement. I am very grateful for this opportunity and look forward to learning from my MSC brothers who minister here, as well as from the people of God in this vibrant parish community.
