Planning Your Wedding

Couples intending to marry at OLSH are asked to phone the parish office. It is important to familiarise yourself with the information linked below prior to making a booking. Bookings should be made at least 6 months in advance. 

Below is a list of documentation that is needed prior to meeting with your priest celebrant:

Your birth certificate, an extract of birth certificate or a current passport.

Your Baptismal certificate. A recent copy, not more than six (6) months old is required.

The cost of the church is $500 for parishioners and $1,200 for non-parishioners. A donation is also made to the priest celebrant, usually recommended to be $350+ for his time and service. NB. the average cost of a marriage celebrant in NSW is $899

Please note: No confetti or rose petals are to be scattered in the Church, outside on the footpath, or anywhere on Parish property.
