Readers

Role:

Readers play an integral part in the Mass through the reading of Sacred Scriptures and the Prayers of the Faithful.

The Readers’ Ministry gives Catholics the opportunity to be part of the mass on the weekends, and at holy days throughout the year. Training is given in public speaking, interpretation of the scriptures, and self-development. Readers go on to develop more confidence and joy in serving God and being an active part of the parish.
