Assistant Priest
Fr. Carroll Tevamle Martin, MSC is a Papua New Guinean priest from Guma in the Pomio District of East New Britain Province. Ordained to the priesthood on 16 February 2014, he has served in both Papua New Guinea and Australia in a variety of pastoral and leadership roles.
Fr. Carroll began his ministry at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish, Henley Beach, South Australia, first as a deacon and later as an assistant priest. He served as MSC Vocation Director for the PNG Province, worked as an assistant priest in the Diocese of Bereina, and was appointed Private Secretary to the Cardinal and Archbishop of Port Moresby. In 2025, he served as Caretaker Rector and Superior of Debiosmenu College (Seminary) in Port Moresby before arriving at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish, Randwick, Sydney, in November 2025.
In his free time, Fr. Carroll enjoys reading, storytelling, listening to classical and meditative music, watching movies, and following AFL and Rugby League. He also loves playing snooker, soccer, volleyball, and basketball. He looks forward to journeying with the Sacred Heart Parish community in faith and fellowship.
