Membership of the Committee is as follows Fr.peter Hearn P.P., Mr.M.Johnson Chairperson,Brian Keane; Jeannette Chalfont; Joshua Gopini; Maryanne Peter Thorne; Richard Morris; Peter Byrne.

The Pastoral Development and Finance Committees work closely together. The PDT determines the goals and objectives for the year and if they have financial implications then the Finance committee is consulted. Before any project is approved it has to be costed and measured against other competing works. All submissions have to be assessed and prioritised, and must be accompanied by three price quotes so the committee can make an informed decision as to which tender will be successful. Any project above $50,000.00 must be referred to the Chancery for approval.

Ventnor is also being treated to a facelift. This is a Heritage Building within the church grounds and badly in need of repair. It has recently had a new kitchen installed as well as painting the interior and the varnishing of the skirting boards all under the watchful eye of Juan, Painter extraordinaire!

Refurbishment of our school at SMM has been successfully completed .

The regular matters of Income and Expenditure are also examined each meeting. Mr.B. Keane provides the details of all aspects of our Financial situation. OLSH has been the recipient of a number of bequests from deceased parishioners which has enabled us to undertake all the items listed above. It is pleasing to note that this work has been undertaken without the necessity of having to have an Appeal for funds.
