The Randwick parish catechists visit Randwick Public School on Wednesday mornings and Rainbow St Public School on Thursday mornings. Ten catechists teach 132 children from Kindergarten to Year 6. The program we follow is called Joy for Living and the parish supplies all materials for the children and the catechists. Catechists are encouraged to participate in the three-year accreditation course. There is also an opportunity each year to attend workshops and conferences organised by the CCD (Confraternity of Christian Doctrine). |
